This package was created as part of a project to migrate an old legacy plone 2.0 site.

It generates a file system based dump of the site content and metadata, workflow states etc.

The data dump can then be read back in to any later (or future) version of Plone

Alternatively it can be used to migrate sites in or out of other content management systems, Google Sites being the first that is supported.
