With funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Bridge to Success project is a partnership between ILRT, Triple A Learning and the International Baccalaureate to provide a virtual learning environment aimed at improving the preparation of 9th and 10th grade students in the US, particularly those from low-income and minority backgrounds.

The VLE uses a combination of Moodle, Mahara and Drupal to provide online material, content repositories, course workshops, mentoring groups and peer to peer support networks.

My role was to integrate Moodle and Mahara, in particular the authorisation and user profile data. So catering for custom profiles in the latter online e-learning portfolio application. Along with setting up Fabric based database syncing and deployment scripts for the externally hosted and internal development systems.
