African Journals OnLine (AJOL) is the world's largest and pre-eminent collection of peer-reviewed, African-published scholarly journals.

Hosting 6000 issues from over 400 journals.

I developed the AJOL system based on Open Journal Systems - adding both multiple Journal and semantic web features. Along with other customisations required by the client.

I subsequently wrote a paper on serving RDF (semantic markup) via the Restful 'Open Archives Initiative', OAI, harvesting protocol.
